Emergency MSK

This six-week course introduces the generalist sonographer to the basics of emergency musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound of the upper and lower extremities. At the end of this course, students will be able to explain the examination procedures and associated trauma in the biceps, triceps, patella, Achilles tendon, gastrocnemius, and quadriceps. Students attending the hands-on portion will perform these examination techniques under the supervision of an experienced MSK sonographer.
