Evidence Informed Decision Making

We know that health-related research is not being implemented into practice. The impact is that patients may not be receiving effective treatment or worse, that they receive care that was unnecessary or harmful. This six-week course introduces the working health care professional to evidence-based decision and the student will learn how to perform and incorporate evidence-based decision making into their current practice to ensure their practice bridges the gap between research and practice. This course is facilitated by an experienced health care researcher.
