Product Description
This five-week course introduces the generalist sonographer to vascular sonography of deep vein thrombi (DVTs). At the end of this course, students will be able to explain the etiology, treatment, and imaging of thrombus in the veins. The examination techniques taught will include assessments in real time, pulsed wave Doppler, and colour Doppler as well as 2D measurements.
The Ultrasound Physics course is recommended as a prerequisite to review and refresh Doppler theory.
